ВЛИЯНИЕ ПРЕПАРАТА РАДИФАРМ НА ПРЕОДОЛЕНИЕ ПОКОЯ СЕМЯН КИПАРИСА АРИЗОНСКОГО (CUPRESSUS ARIZONICA PARL.) И КИПАРИСОВИКА ЛАВСОНА (CHAMAECYPARIS LAWSONIANA GREENE)

Изучено влияние препарата Радифарм на преодоление покоя семян C. Arizonica и Ch. lawsoniana в комбинации с различными способами предпосевной обработки. Показано, что при влажной стратификации достоверно увеличивается количество погибших семян (до 32 %), использование сфагнума в качестве субстрата для прорастания приводит к снижению энергии прорастания и всхожести. Увеличение всхожести в 1,3 и 2,9 раза для C. Arizonica и Ch. lawsoniana, соответственно, и уменьшение количества погибших семян выявлено при комбинации сухой стратификации с дальнейшей обработкой семян препаратом Радифарм.

THE INFLUENCE OF THE PREPARATION RADIFARM TO OVERCOMING SEED DORMANCY OF ARIZONA CYPRESS (CUPRESSUS ARIZONICA PARL.) AND PORT ORFORD CEDAR (CHAMAECYPARIS LAWSONIANA GREENE)

Seed propagation of conifers is often problematic due to quality and continuous germination of seeds. The introduction of technological schemes that use growth stimulants, including Radifarm, are one of promising direction. So the aim of this work was to identify the impact of Radifarm to overcoming of seed dormancy of С. arizonica and Ch. lawsoniana local reproduction. Among the methods to overcoming seed dormancy used dry and wet cold stratification for a month at + 5 ° С and scarification. Then the seeds of both cultures exposed in a 0.4% -th solution of Radifarm for 12 hours. In determining vigor and seed germination the conventional seed control methods are used. As a result, determining the vigor and seed germination of C. arizonica it was found that the figures for the different variants of the experiment ranged from 2.0 to 19.8% and from 4.0 to 42.9%, respectively, with the use of Radifarm. Ch. lawsoniana produce viable seeds, as evidenced by germinating capacity, which can be as high as 83.3%. Quality seeds of both plants is low, which is probably due to the small number of plants in groups, which leads to self-pollination and formation of parthenospermic seeds. Comparative analysis of overcoming seed dormancy of studied plants showed, that Ch. lawsoniana seeds germinate in any variant, but dry stratification with the using of Radifarm increases the figures in 1.3 and 2.9 times for C. arizonica and Ch. lawsoniana, respectively. It is shown that the wet stratification significantly increases the number of dead seeds (to 32%) and the use of sphagnum as a substrate reduces the vigor and seed germination.
